Kiss
(In Stillness...I Feel Your Breath Is My Breath)
Let's understand stillness, and be totally entwined
Lilt me your lips;
Our lost breath intermingling like dropping balm,
Synchronize our silence this very moment...
Tremble with me in paralyzing pause
I may no longer breathe without breathing you
Each of your words such pleasure brings...
Like soft touch stirrings

Touch In A Dream
(In Stillness...I Feel Your breath is My Breath)
With wondrous thoughts I must exclaim
My eyes which trap my stare with solid grip
But never do I wish to be unlatched...
From your poise, nor sight of your sculpture structure
And though these features impress I deeply
It's more than looks in which my affection is bound
You have brought a peace upon my soul...
And planted a flame in my heart
I feel your heart is mine

Distraction
(In Stillness...I Feel Your Breath Is My Breath)
You sweep in a like a gust of leaves
Turning my head and commanding my eyes
Which are now firmly pinned to your rustling rhythm
A crisp distraction
The type that lingers on...
for days...
Nights...
Weeks...
Unwilted by time
Preserved in my mind
A renaissance of the heart and soul
A beautiful, crisp distraction

Melting Moment
(Footprints In The Heart)
Today I watch the same red cardinal resting on the papaya tree
As he bob his head back and forth, up and down
Then spreading his wings anticipating his next flight
But before he leaves his usual place, he sings me a song
And my heart beat like the drums of paradise
My eyes tears
A melting moment
My ku'uipo, I miss your love, I miss your touch, I miss your smile
And most of all I miss my best friend
You ask me to go on and continue to live my life and strive to love again
You said that I deserve to love another as you so loved in me
You made me promise to keep heaven far from reach
And that my destiny is not of heaven just yet
But my Ku'uipo, you complete us
Without you here beside me it is no longer us but just I
And the sun shine in color blind and the sunset without a reflection
And the moon shone without the glittering of the stars
The surf has no meaning without your talent upon the height of it's strength
And I miss continuing watching every ride you've ever rode as I am your biggest fan
All the moon-light picnics bike rides, and exploring the islands
With our eyes and our hearts and making love beneath the stars
For you my Ku'uipo love what I love
And you my Ku'uipo are one in a million
Why did God not notice the love he sees in us?
Why did God take you away from me and left me with only melting moment to recall?
The day God took you , he took with him
The greatest example that he could ever have created in a human
He took with him the greatest love I could have ever been bless to know
At the end of each evening
I kneel down on my knees and pray and I ask God for forgiveness in me
For I should not question as to why God took you
But to thank God for the gift of meeting you and falling in love with you
And though I sleep peacefully and I dream beautifully
I awaken with...
Melting moment of you
I miss you my Ku'uipo
You are my beautiful red cardinal...please sing me our song once again
English Translation: Ku'uipo = sweetheart

Love Affair
(If Tomorrow Never Comes)
They say marriages don't last...
Well then...
Think of marriage as a great love affair!
60 years together and still
Her hand is the only one he will hold
I asked him what is the secret to his marriage?
And with great excitement, he replies...
Honey!...It's "YES, DEAR!"
The words begin...
I saw her from the distant
Sitting alone on the pier kicking her feet in the water
My heart stopped...as her head turn my way
Glancing back at the image I was painting
There as if an answer from above
The face of an angel...
Is the face of the complete painting I stand before it
She was my love affair through the many paintingss
I have painted and here in full view
She is real
I walked over to her
Handed her a single picked flower
She looked at it with confusion
"Why only one petal left on this flower?" She asked.
With that I answer...my dear, the last one says...
LOVE ME

Remembrance
(Footprints in the Heart)
There was a time in my life
When innocents were all around me
My words
My voice
My thoughts
My prayers where that of you
You filled my world with dreams of heavenly paradise
A paradise not yet known to me
You were unknown to me
Each dream I dreamt, were of you
In darkness your silhouette I search beneath
Though true image was far from reach
In my dreams I dream of you
One day...
Unknowingly, I watch you standing against the rail of the boat
Strangers we were, but in dreams we were not
You stood with beauty in your image and in my view I observed
As each petal of the pua I watch you toss into the now softness of the sea
I wonder what your thoughts were
Who fills your mind at that very second?
Who is it that cast your heart that you so disappeared from others to be in daze?
The moment of such delight
Of such intrique
I long to examine more
You walked over and extend your hand to my shyly manner
A breathtaking smile
A smile never forgotten
No smile ever experience as yours
A gentle word flowing in the wind...ah..that voice
No other voice have ever been so captivating
Not surprisingly, so thoughtful with ease
You share the moon-lid evening full of stars with me
Pointing to each star
Sculpting into my mind the knowledge I would not have known otherwise
Your intelligent and beauty so natural I yearn for the feeling of contentment
Your wisdom and maturity fascinate my mind
As you gently guide us in the direction of the ocean still calm in the silent ripples
Only moon-light reflection to share the silhouette of our images
I lean my head against your body and you gently wrap your arms around me
That very moment I knew your arms are the strength I will forever crave
Your arms protect and your heart provide
And I knew it is you, I dreamt of all my life
You are my words, my thoughts, my prayers
We had a beautiful love
You are love
And you share with me the teaching of your love
To carry on alone in my new world long after our lives distant
Our memories lives on in my heart
Many years have gone by and I struggle to find my place
In an empty paradise you left behind
Your love I strive to live on
Unconditional through the years, I am so blessed
No others in my life has known the meanning of "unconditional"
The wind of time may take you from my life
But it can never take you from my heart
I close my eyes now darling
Your arms once again wrap around me
And your voice sings me a love song I've heard many times
And many times I long for more as if it were the first time
A dream of paradise beneath the stars
And there...you point to the petals floating in the sea
Millions and millions of petals
And I couldn't help but look up into your eyes
Before a word can utter
You gently place too fingers on my lips..
"All these petals are petals of you my sweet pua
I loved you from afar
And I hesitate to seek your path
Anticipating you to search my road
With all the dreams, wishes and prayer I searched in my life
Then one day you stood in the distant, the very same boat as I
My heart pound like never before and I hesitate in my step
The lei I wore, a gift that eve
Each pua I assemble and each petal I strip from it's frame
To gently dropped into the sea of heavenly paradise
I ask GOD for your love
And as I dropped each petal, my thoughts were of you and all of you
Love, my darling sweet pua, is magical
Our love is magical
The greastest love of our life!"
Others would say that I am a dreamer
Yes, I am a dreamer and in my dreams
Love surrounds me because of you
I thank you from the bottom of my soul
I thank you always
For giving me your love
The greatest love of my life!

Wrong Time
(If Tomorrow Never Comes)
I sometimes feel as though I am living in the wrong time
Oh how I would love to go back in the days...
When women were truly ladies
When men were truly gentlemen
When the most beautiful thing was not a jaguar or a mansion
But rather the sight of a single rose...
And a walk along the shoreline hand in hand
When a man was not judeged by the size of his wallet
But rather the size of his heart
When a woman was not judged by the way she looked
But rather the way she touches
When every breath that we took...was a breath given to another
When children loved...by the beauty they saw in their parents
When sunrises were captured more than sunsets
When the smell of the morning dew...
Was to be awakened by the blessing of the day
